CO-VALUE at the National Citizen Labs Meeting in Alicante
On 26 September 2024, the CO-VALUE project was showcased during the National Meeting of Citizen Labs in Alicante, an event organised by Impulsalicante, the city’s National Development Agency, dedicated to promoting local economic growth and innovation.
It brought together key citizen labs from across Spain to exchange ideas, projects, and experiences focused on urban development.
Participants also shared methodologies and tools aimed at fostering collaboration and transforming cities. The event provided an unique platform for attendees to discuss innovative approaches to urban growth and societal engagement.
During the event, our representative from Alicante Science Park(PCA), Mar Cervera Reig, illustrated how CO-VALUE seeks to strengthen the role of society in knowledge valorisation and how it will experiment with various ways to involve citizens in shaping how research results are transformed into practical solutions, making scientific knowledge accessible and beneficial to all.
The presentation highlighted CO-VALUE’s commitment to empowering communities and fostering knowledge valorisation that leads to tangible improvements in people’s lives.
