On 20 November, the Alicante Science Park (PCA) hosted a Cross-Projects Workshop, bringing together representatives from the CO-VALUE, Kaleidos, and BEAGLE projects to exchange insights on innovative strategies for knowledge valorisation, focusing on how to drive impactful change and value creation.

Each project shared updates on their current experiments, highlighting unique approaches to addressing the challenges and opportunities within their work. While CO-VALUE and the Kaleidos project centre on citizen engagement in knowledge valorisation processes, BEAGLE’s efforts focus on co-creating innovations by strengthening collaborations between academia and industry actors. This diversity of approaches offers valuable insights into knowledge valorisation across different environments in Europe.

We were delighted to welcome EU Policy Officer Iphigenia Pottaki who joined us to discuss the European Commission’s expectations for all projects. Her contributions underscored the importance of collaboration and policy alignment to shape effective knowledge valorisation. Our conversations provided a foundation for understanding how the outcomes of our work can inform future policy recommendations and add value at the regional and European levels.

The workshop concluded with a collective conversation on next steps and key takeaways, setting a strong foundation for the ongoing collaboration between CO-VALUE, Kaleidos, and BEAGLE projects.
