CO-VALUE Presented at ACCTING Final Conference in Brussels
On April 30, CO-VALUE was presented at the final conference of the ACCTING project, “Empowering Change: Building a Fair and Inclusive Green Deal”, held at La Tricoterie in Brussels. The event brought together a diverse audience of civil society organisations, NGOs, policymakers, and researchers dedicated to advancing a just and inclusive ecological transition.
Representing CO-VALUE, Esteban Pelayo shared the project aims to boost the uptake and deployment of research results by engaging citizens for Knowledge valorisation. . He highlighted practical tools and methodologies developed through CO-VALUE, demonstrating how the inclusion of citizens in innovation processes leads to more socially responsive and sustainable outcomes.
The conference sessions focused on key challenges such as engaging vulnerable communities, managing common resources, and strengthening cross-sector collaboration. A keynote speech by Tunç Soyer, former Mayor of Izmir, reinforced the importance of inclusive governance in addressing global transitions.
CO-VALUE was proud to contribute to this forward-looking dialogue and continues to champion collaborative innovation models that work with and for society.
